Participants will review proper alignment and anatomy, learn many partial poses and partner-assisted stretches for the upper body.
The approach will increase the suppleness and strength of your neck, shoulders and back to reduce the likelihood of injury to these areas. Conditions that would benefit from this workshop:Neck muscle strain, Headaches, Whiplash, Cervical nerve stretch syndrome, Shoulder impingement syndrome, Rotator cuff tendonitis, Bursitis, Frozen shoulder, Dislocation, Subluxation, Biceps, Elbow strain, Chronic re-occurring pain, Inflexible shoulders painful or limited rotation, Mid and lower back pain, Back muscle spasm, Wrist pain, Tendonitis, Tennis elbow, Painful weak grip. Back pain which hurts as much at night as during the day, unrelenting pain down the back of the leg, areas of numbness on the buttocks or on the leg or feet, pins and needles in the feet, wasting of the leg muscles, or loss of feeling in part of the legs or feet.
