About the iCocoon Stretch Therapy Workshop Series
The approach draws on a number of bodywork disciplines and features many novel techniques, the use of ‘partial poses’ and partner assisted stretching exercises to focus on a single joint, contract-relax (C-R) and other neural techniques to enhance posture and flexibility.
You will learn techniques to increase your awareness of what is happening in the body and to increase the range of movement of the body’s joints and muscles by effective re-mapping of the brain’s image of its capacities.

Prerequisite of workshop series:
The series consist of 8-10 hours detailed instructions. Each workshop builds new material on the previous one. For this reason, taking the workshops in the order as it is listed here is highly recommended, however you may take iCST-3 before iCST-2. You are able to self-space the program and repeat any as often as you like (half price - please register early as we allow maximum 5 repeat-attendees per workshop).
Important notice:
- you need to attend iCST-1 INTRO before taking iCST 2-3 or 4
- you need to complete the workshop series (iCST1-4) before attending regular weekly iCocoon P&F classes at any appointed gym
What happens if I have missed the ST Intro (Part 1) but would be interested in taking iCST part 2 or 3 of the workshop series?
It is possible to make up for the Intro by booking one private session with Giselle. This will allow you to get familiar with the technique and learn the exercises introduced during Part 1 of the series. Please call and make an appointment today! We would love to get you up to speed!

Why are mandatory prerequisites important?
Partial poses are easy to learn and can be used as daily maintenance. But your posture and flexibility will improve significantly when working with partners in class, one-on-one, benefiting from assisted stretches.
During the iCocoon Stretch Therapy Workshop Series you will learn the use of props to reduce the apprehension reflex, correct and perform each exercise independently. Ample practice of partial and assisted poses during the series will ensure that every one will walk away with an amazing experience.
